The 2013 Chicago Radiological Society (CRS) Resident Scientific Poster Session was held during the CRS Meeting, Thursday, Feb. 21, 2013, Rush University Medical Center, Chicago, IL.
Three Pinsky Awards were conferred. The awards were sponsored by the family of Steven Pinsky, MD, a respected and beloved Chicago-area radiologist, nuclear medicine physician and educator who passed away in 2004.

The purpose of the Resident Scientific Poster Session is to promote the
inter-institutional exchange of information, and provide an opportunity for residents to fulfill the scholarly activity requirement of their residency programs.

This award is sponsored by the estate of Harold J. Lasky, MD (1922-2009), a former President of the CRS who played a pivotal role in developing the national quality assurance program that resulted in the Mammography Quality Standardization Act (MQSA) of 1994.
The award is a $500 cash prize given to a resident or fellow for a meritorious project on the subject of breast cancer diagnosis, prevention or treatment that is presented at the CRS Resident Scientific Poster Session.
